A few months ago we asked you to help us build an international school. Now our call has been answered. Peter Koper from P.J. Koper Vastgoed BV has agreed to fully support the construction of the school.

The construction of our school takes place next month in October. The school consists of four new classrooms, spacious auditorium, football field, basketball field, and not to mention the existing facilities such as classrooms, swimming pool, praying hall, vast playground, and so on. The construction itself will take about five months. And if everything goes as plan, the Peduli Anak International School is ready to accept new students from grade 1 until 9 for the upcoming academic year.

Now that we have the construction part in our hands, the next step is to furnish the new school. We still need various school equipments such as chairs, desks, computers, whiteboards, and so on. Your help is greatly needed. For your financial contribution, click here.

In order to ensure the continuity of education for the children of Peduli Anak, we develop a cross-subsidy concept for the school finance. The children of Peduli Anak will attend this school for free whereas other children will be charged with a reasonable fee. On that account, Peduli Anak will accomplish three major goals: to provide free qualified education for children living in Peduli Anak, to generate income to support the operational costs of the schools and the foundation in general, and to support government program of affordable and high standard education for all children in Indonesia.

Last but not least, another significant part of the school is the human resources. As we set a high standard of education for our school, we also aim to have the best professional educators. However, with a limited budget, we are looking for qualified individuals who are willing to not only dedicate their expertise, but also contribute to us, a non-profit foundation. Therefore, we would like to invite all professional educators (principals, teachers, instructors, etc) and volunteers to join our team and work with us to give our children one of the most important things in their life, education.
