Peduli anak implements ne
March 2007 Bjørn Dudok van Heel, one of the members of the Executive Board of the Peduli Anak Foundation, flew this month to Indonesia in order to introduce and facilitate the implementation of the new organizational structure and global strategy. Together with his colleague and friend, Chaim Fetter, he created not only the legal fundament, but also verbally presented the structure and strategy to local and Western employees, volunteers and donators. Almost everybody felt like they were part of something special; part of the growth of a new, young NGO………! The new structure is based upon the concept of the ‘Chameleon Organization’ or ‘ Learning Organization’. Job positions and job descriptions are flexible, ready for duplication and can easily be adjusted to local circumstances. Even though the structure seems quit rigid on paper, she is more flexible than people might think. We see her as a framework or tool to provide structure and coordination. The new structure and her imbedded system of ‘checks and balances' creates flexibility, effectiveness, transparency and combativeness! |
