WFC donates US$ 16,200
March 24, 2010 - One of the most important parts for a successful school is good qualified teachers. Thanks to Wishes for Children (WFC) foundation in Australia we are now able to hire 6 teachers and 1 principal for one year. Ergomotion Inc., Craftmatic Australia, Richard Anderson and Associates Accounting, and Medico Japan donate US$ 1,350/month via WFC to PA. And not only that, to ensure that PA will have sustainable funds in the future, Medico Japan also donates 5% of its profit to PA! It is widely believed by many Indonesians that children must devote their life to the parents or family. Some families take this common belief too far as to exploit their children to earn money for them. For the first step of this mutual collaboration, WFC has gathered three companies to help PA school hire teachers and principal. For future project, together we will execute a plan to empower the family/community of these unfortunate children. Furthermore, Ash and Abby will spread the word about PA to their colleagues and people around the world through fundraising events and just a simple word of mouth. This month, Ash returned to Lombok with his colleagues Tony, Darlene, and Rick to finalize our agreement. PA is very delighted and blessed to work with such enthusiastic people with big hearts who are willing to dedicate their expertise, time, and money to help others in need.
